Justin Bieber's monkey seized at German airport

Justin Bieber now has the company of his pet monkey as he tours Europe - but bringing the animal overseas came at a cost.  A spokesperson from the customs office at the Munich, Germany airport tells People that they were "forced to confiscate" the monkey since the Biebs had no official paperwork with him when he arrived for his Thursday concert via private plane.

The magazine says the superstar and his pet were both detained and quarantined at the Franz Josef Strauss Airport.  Bieber will reportedly be charged a fine for not bringing the proper documentation for his pet's international travel.

But the monkey appears to have recovered from the airport incident, as Bieber posted several photos of himself "kickin it" with the small animal over the weekend on his Instagram.
